I haven't seen any signs of them backtracking? If they said they're not doing it because of this reason or that reason then fine let's hear it but they're not, it's simply another excuse to stick 2 fingers up at England.

I think the ban in England, might actually cause more deaths due to these dogs getting abandoned, I agree with the ban on breeding them , but enforcing a £90 fee and the need for liability insurance will IMO Lead to people dumping these dogs , unfortunately there will still be deaths in England due to attacks by this breed of dog

The ban is of course not foolproof but it's a start, any dogs dumped will hopefully be quickly round up and shot, I don't think we'll end up in packs of them running around wild. I think insurance should be compulsory for all dogs not just these ones, I think a lot more breeds than this one should be muzzled at all times in public. Leads I think are a waste of time because the owners can't hold these things back anyway.
