When I came to UK last April we stayed with friends in Sheffield they took us to a tesco store just of the Wicker area, It was full of ethnic minority. We got our goods which ammounted to around £42 paying at a machine, Many stores have this system. I could have got many Items free if I had been dishonest the staff don't seem to concentrate on the people using these payment machines. A woman next to us walked out and never paid for her shopping at all she was bragging to our friends who knew her. So sad but only have themselves to blame.

I was in Morrisons Cortonwood just before Christmas and most of their self service tills were down and there were big queues at the staffed tills.

I said to the girl monitoring the few self service tills that were open that it would be a good idea to get the broken tills repaired. She said that they weren’t broken but deliberately turned off because she was on her own and could only keep an eye on two of the self service tills

So Morrisons idea of customer service is queue up because we don't want to hire more staff to help you

In the last 2 out of 3 visits to Tesco supermarket at Wath-on-Dearne, I have seen security
follow people outside & asked them to return in store, citing goods not paid for in their
trolley, each time it was a different couple man / woman stopped.
One of the women stopped gave the security guard some right verbal.
