Best wishes to him, it was always going to happen soon as you do well vultures start circling same with the players, JJ and Langstaff will be targeted this window I would have thought too.
LW will go onto better than Swansea long term IMO and I hope he has a long and successful career.
Just got an email from the club too, subject "Luke Williams departs". Not much in, links to the statement and video.
Oh and this.

I'll always love Luke Williams. Besides the amazing football and promotion, I'll remember him as a fantastic guy who totally reinvigorated our great club. I'll follow his career with interest and hope he goes on to be successful at Swansea. I totally understand why he moved - family always comes first.
Now, let's see who we can get in. As long as the bros are in charge, the future looks bright. Onwards and upwards!
Yep, onwards and upwards, never look back, no use crying over spilt milk etc.
Agreed, he will be hard act to follow, I hope we get in a manager with a similar philosophy.
Glad it's over and we can get on with the football that obviously was affected by Luke deciding to leave weeks ago leading to a few bad loses! I've enjoyed the time but the amount of goals we're shipping this season has been a worry. Lets hope Notts have a clause to stop him poaching players before the summer. Then I can see a few leaving so a rebuild will be needed in the summer.
As Burchnall found out the grass isn't always greener although the money is!! So good luck Luke as you're gonna need it with their owners that's for sure. Guess if it all goes t*ts up there's always Newport County as that's even closer to home.
Right then back to the football "Jim O'Brien's black and white army!!!"

I think there's a lot more pressure on us now to make the play offs. LW had enough credit in the bank for most fans to accept a top half finish, but any manager who takes over now and fails to make the top 7 will be the man who inherited a club in a play off position and made us worse.
Seems to me Swansea have done good business here
Williams was on their coaching staff and must have been recognised as having potential
They just sent him out to get some experience and brought him back when the time was right
Luckily for us he got it right in the short time they let us have him
