I don't think the Swansea fans are overwhelmed by this and if he doesn't get off to a good start then it could turn sour pretty quickly.
On twitter Swansea fans are all thinking he's just going to magically boost them up the table. He took over a fairly decent Notts team as a big fish in a small pond. The two massive additions to the Notts squad that made a difference last year he wasn't in the building for (Langstaff and Scott). They're biggest issue is defence, well let's just look at us 🤣 he won't fix it very easily there and if they get a few bad results, it's going to add to the pressure

LW saying that Macca is the king of meadow lane and wants to see him help us get promoted. Hasn’t ruled out working with him again though!

Yes but nobody on here has said he is as good as those two.

Warnock started league one level with us Luke didnt NL is much harder to get out of that is a fact.

Also somebody saying not doing as well as Cook...well a quick look last season shows we finished 25-30 points above him and we didnt lose to Cook once !

Both managed in different eras and in 10 years time we will see how LW has got he might fail or he might become a solid PL/Championship coach.

I think one of the clauses in the deal was that he can't poach Notts players until the summer. There is no way the brothers would leave themselves open to that happening.

Sometimes you take a job you want with less than ideal conditions so you're doing the job. Then if one comes up closer then you go to it. His kids are still young. Fair play to him, he got us out of non league and we play good football which just needs some new players to really fly which will come with time and money. Good on him and good luck.

Some have very short memories because it worked brilliantly. Luke Williams has been in charge for 72 league games, and in those 72 games we've scored 172 goals and conceded 89, while amassing 149 points. To use one of Luke's favourite words, incredible!

He managed to do what others failed to do, but you got the feeling this season he had reached his peak.. I think he would have benefited by staying another season to gain more tactical experience...

The opposition have barely had the ball to score so the opposition goals scored to % of possession I'd imagine to be quite high. Yes we had a good record last season but some games we had the ball 70+% of the game. This season against better managers and players it's dreadful considering we're still in the 60+% range. Just take the last game for an example of that!

They lose 4 on the bounce like we just did, the pressure will be on & ship 3, 4 5 goals in away from home against lower teams, he'll be looking for a new job before the season ends. Rooney won't get a look in
