Thread: O/T Hobbies Or Pastimes

    Millers don't count Jock !
As a huge music fan I decided to learn the guitar about 5 years ago, got myself a cheap electric Yamaha guitar, and booked some lessons with a teacher locally.
Unfortunately it just didn't work out, the teacher was a young lad who was more interested in the bands he was in than teaching a complete novice like me.
And I just didn't have the amount of time needed at home to get anywhere, so it's in its box in the loft, maybe I'll give it go another day.

My hobbies are now my granddaughters two beautiful girls. Totally smitten with them. I’m hopeless at telling them off they walk all over me.
Taekwondo and martial arts is my passion.
Got my second Dan black belt in taekwondo hoping to get my black belt kick boxing this year.
I still box but only on the bag in the garage ( no not the wife) 😎
    Love walking the dogs too.

Very good advice. I struggled with the G chord but my guitarist brother got me to do the single finger G. I have a Bob Dylan song book and can play through quite a few of his pieces using just the D, G and A7. Love playing his Mr Tambourine Man which has Em also but is an easy change from/to A7.
