Legend is an overused word nowadays but in this case not an absolutely fabulous player and didn’t do too bad as a manager!
As a kid i classed him with Cruyff and Pele as legends now sadly all gone
Majority of today’s so called stars couldn’t lace his boots

Tremendous footballer - great in defence but could also bring the ball forward and pass as well - one of the first ‘complete’ centre backs I recall seeing - think Bobby Moore was similar in that respect
