So the Tory government pas a third bill on Rwanda that will not achieve what they intend, neither send Asylum seekers to Rwanda or stop people risking their lives to cross the channel. More than that though, we see a Uk Government actually legislate to potentially break international law and put the country in the same bracket as Russia and Belarus.

This is a dangerous step, no doubt it will be frustrated in the Lords, but a step towards totalitarianism. When a government passes legislation to overrule law both domestic and international because it suits them, then beware, because next time it will use it against its own citizens.

Those who think that the phrase, reminiscent of 1930's Germany is overblown are forgetting the lessons of history.

There was one laugh though, no sorry two, the 1st was Lee Anderson who left the "no" lobby and abstained becuase labour were taking the piss out of him, so clearly his bluff no nonesnes persona is a front, and Theres Coffey who claimed that the shadow Home secretary couldn't get the country right when she referred to Kigali, obviously not knowing that Kigali is the capital of Rwanda. With politicians of such quality the Tory party are spoiling us.

You wouldn't think that there were pressing measures like Dr's strikes, train strikes, crumbling schools, a cost of living crisis, the damaging effect of Brexit etc etc. given the focus on flawed policy which will never achieve its aims.
