Islay, have a wee look at ALK Capital LLC. There's also an American company involved. Right up your street for some fact finding.

You can't judge but you have judged.😄

    Got me with that one.

Ok , you can never be sure, but in my opinion, it can only be good. Can’t see any downside to this.

    Hope it's a roaring success.

Only reason you can't see a downside is because you don't know what it entails.

    And we probably never will

The only downside I can see is that Burnley may have first refusal on any players they think might be a success playing for them and they might sign them for a reduced transfer fee or sign them for nothing.
As with most contracts the devil is in the detail.

    That is the $64,000 question.
Time will tell but you can be sure the owners of Burnley ALK Capital Limited Liability Company LLC) are not running this as a charitable venture.

I enclose the ALK Capital LLC website which reads a bit like the Keyes Capital website. https://alkcapital.com/about-alk/

Thanks Islay. As you say, very similar approach. Just wondered if there are any finance facts available. The UK company, similar name, is just a vehicle for making payments between UK and wherever. £10 in the bank.

Wonder why the Burnley mob specifically mentioned European football.

Burnley income, season tickets £7m, TV income £100m. Looks like they are in a good place financially. Hoping that we can find a way to use this link up. If we can replicate the success of Beck's stay with us this might be a way to punch above our ability to pay top wages.
It feels a wee bit like the strategy we had when the Bonettis were managing the club. Cannigia, Ketsbaia, Nemzadze and Ravanelli were playing for us in the expectation that we would recoup their wages when we transferred them to a wealthy club. They got the platform and the profile. It didn't work out financially, but this time there seems to be little financial risk.
Maybe loans can work out for both the player and our team does get into the possible European places?
Feeling a lot more positive about DFC and this as a way forward for the football team
