Wonder why the Burnley mob specifically mentioned European football.

Think they think that the Scottish league is a two horse race which leaves spaces for a well resourced club to pick up extra revenue.

The population has not been updated since then.
I one thing I have noticed watching Burnley home games on Match of Day is that their ground at Turf Moor is rarely full unless they are playing Manchester United, Manchester City or Liverpool.
Dundee FC has another connection with Burnley FC which Linda is probably unaware of.
Bobby Seith played for Burnley FC before he was signed by Bob Shankly and he was a member of the 1961-62 League Championship winning team.

It is now a bit out of date regarding Sean Dyche but the new chairman of Burnley FC Alan Pace states that his company ALK Capital under promises and over achieves so time will tell as far as their link up with Dundee FC is concerned.

In my opinion this is similar to the current Directors of Sandeman Properties Limited whose holding company is Dark Blue Property Holdings Limited borrowing money from the Isle of Man based financial company Soho Green putting up Dens Park Stadium as security for their loan.

I saw these comments. The big difference is that Burnley operated in the EPL and made a surplus. I think the only risk for DFC is that the loan players do not prove to be of a sufficiently high standard to get us into the top 6 and challenging for Europe. Don't see any financial downside in this arrangement.

The one financial downside I can see which I have previously posted is that Burnley FC have first refusal on our good players which might mean that can sign them for a pittance instead of their full transfer fee. If that is the case then there is little point in having this tie up.
Burnley player Marcel Lewis was not much use to us during the first half of this season whilst on loan and he was rightly sent back to Burnley at the start of the current transfer window.

Islay, speculation that they might sign our best players for a pittance doesn't seem likely. Why would we do that? I don't believe for a minute that this Burnley tie up is designed to give them cheap players.

The new owners of Burnley Football Club are not doing this tie up out of the goodness of their heart and they will be looking for a financial benefit in return.
They could have sent players on loan to us if they wanted to without an official tie up.
They sent Marcel Lewis on loan to us for the first half of this season and we all know how well that loan turned out.
