    Yes. However there are still a lot of people who prefer to carry out their bank accounts and credit cards the old fashioned way.

    Not got mobile banking Islay, still write cheques, got 1 credit card, last used 38 mths ago.

    Worked in a bank for 5 years, security and sorting things out when it goes tits up ain't great ....and it goes tits up a lot.

    I prefer cheque.

    Loads of modern things I just don't use......CC, pay at pump, e ticks I loathe, pay with nothing by phone, use cash if at all possible.

    I just prefer it.

    Semi skimmed milk, air fryers, long handled putters all inventions of satan

    I agree.
    The easier you make financial transactions the easier it is to encourage fraud especially with internal fraud in banks thanks to the centralisation of back office work in bank branches.

    Hate tap and go also with this £100 limit.

    Punching in 4 numbers not totally secure but better than tap.

    Lose yer debit card and you cud be wiped out before you know you have lost it.

    Also abroad now they are desperate for you to pay by card.....bugger that.

    The vans came in when they started moving offices out of town centres, it’s not to do with parcels as we delivered them before parcelforce was set up
