No point in getting contracted players. We cant be tying ourselves down with champ wages for players who are likely to be in div 1 next season. Save that cash to get decent quality lower div players next season.

All quiet on the western front. Wont believe owts imminent till peter o rourke starts mentioning us on twitter. He is the oracle.
The trouble with decent quality lower division players is that if we do go back to the Championship they will not be good enough. It’s Hard been a Millers fan init roly.

    Pie and chips

Imagine our club is a cafe that offers only pie & chips

Nothing wrong with pie and chips, a lot of folks like pie and chips, but it gets really boring having pie and chips on every visit.

But then there's the "special" where you can pay in advance for the next 23 plates of pie and chips, a real bargain.

The other alternative though is to wait until later in the year where external costs mean that the pie gets smaller, you get less chips and the price is 10% higher.

But it's still pie and chips and you've got used to your fix of pie and chips every other week, served by the same bloke in the same cafe with the same tablecloths and plastic coated menu cards showing glorious photos of pies.

Absolute non starter if there's no mushy peas involved, but to include Mushy peas is an extra cost and how much is anyone willing to pay upwards for them?

Can see this pie and chips being removed off the menu and only a stale old cheese sarnie will be on offer.

The last time we asked for mushy peas with the usual pie and chips it cost £1.2 million but it didn't significantly enhance the meal so I can't see TS falling for that one again.
We might have to put up with the occasional doner kebab from now on.

maybe we can get some scraps, though not always free. They even sell them in M&S.

Mellow, there is evidence though that once stirred, the £1.2 Million spent on the peas did look like it had a good underlying taste. I have a feeling it may well be the best outlay on 'food' we may have ever spent as it showcases more in League 1.

Yes there is a choice of filling, you can either have one or not have one

As for gravy the cafe cook is looking into borrowing some from the classier restaurant just up the road.

Seems to me it's going to need a drop of mint sauce adding into the mix and that's usually free so TS would probably go for that.

We'd need a good stirrer to stop the gravy going gooey but, we've got plenty of stirrers on here so no worry over that
