Deal of the decade. £15m profit in 6 months although City have a sell on clause so it will be a bit less

Aston Villa have agreed a deal with Middlesbrough to sign winger Morgan Rogers.
It is understood the deal could eventually be worth £16m if add-ons are reached.
It marks a significant profit for Boro in just six months after they signed Rogers for £1m from Manchester City last summer.

    Derby County -

Contacted Sheffield Wednesday to take forward Lee Gregory, on a rest-season-loan, the Owls will
let Gregory leave, but want a higher contribution to the players wages.

    Derby County -

Still want Michael Smith, but the Owls want a permanent transfer, with a decent fee, for the player.

Derby County only want one of the players, so make your mind up time.

    Championship

Southampton FC - Agree to sign 26 year-old winger David Brooks, on a remainder-season-loan,
from AFC Bournmouth, having medical today.

Southampton FC recall Romain Faivre, from his loan at French club Lorient.

David Brooks a good player, will probably be in the Southampton side against the Millers on Saturday.

Cambridge United - Sign 25 year-old full-back James Gibbons, end-season-loan, from Bristol Rovers.
Gibbons is comfortable at both right & left back.

Ps - A Player we could have done with, beginning of the season.

Pity we didn't as I could just see the North Stand doing this (as long as Darren Moore wasn't around of course )

So that theory that Tony Stewart isn’t backing the manager regarding buying players for money is load of tosh then .
