Albeit after only two games the new manager looks out of his depth.

I was rightly banned at the time but I thought it was a very odd appointment.Bit of a money saving excercise?

To be fair as I posted earlier they look a good all round team that’s been in the making, if Jones and Langstaff leave close season and the whole recruitment situation isn’t sorted we could well be in a relegation battle next season.

the 2 games have been against teams in the top 3, and as for Mansfield away we never win there for some reason. So to early to tell yet, lets see how SM gets on against mid or lower table teams

I think it's more to do with the owners wanting to have as much control as possible. If money was an issue they would have sold Langstaff, I suppose.

Should've switched Jones and Nemane again in the 2nd half. It worked much better with Jones on the right.

Biggest disappointment is failing to test their keeper throughout the game.

At least we made a game out of it this time.

All we hear about is Richard Montague " who sits on our board and is head of recruitment "

Clough's first comment post match was that his team restricted us, going on to point out we are a dangerous side and yet they kept a clean sheet.

I cant agree with us not breaking them down enough today, we had more than enough big chances in the first half to be out of sight, players being profligate can hardly be blamed on SM. But I absolutely agree that we looked horrendous going forward against barrow and in the second half today, its giving me terrible flashbacks of Burchnall's infamous bandwagon...
