Ah. Everyone’s favourite failed politician, Professor Dalgleish. I wondered when he would show up.
Have you checked whether he has a point? The UK is one of the most heavily vaccinated countries in the world and also one that is quite good at making data available about such things as cancer deaths. So, if he has a point, that data would show an (above trend) increase would it not?
Take a look. Spoiler: it’s just like the miscarriage claims that we discussed earlier in the thread. There is simply no evidence to support his anecdotes.
In fairness, Dalgliesh is certainly not an antivaxxer. He’s the chief scientific officer of a company called Immunor, which is developing a vaccine called IMM-101. In his recent appearance on the John Campbell’s podcast, he suggested that IMM-101 could be used a covid vaccine, despite it never have trialled to see if it works. He’s Dr Susan Oliver's take on that:

So Dalgleish doesn’t think we should be using the mRNA vaccines that were developed for Covid and would prefer that we use IMM-101 instead, despite it never having been trialled for that disease. Fancy that.
