Law of averages doesn't work like that.
No
Will we win at Ipswich tonight?
Mid week games always seem to have the ability to produce shock results.
We are due an away win on a 'law of averages' basis alone.
Our hard luck on Saturday will balance out.
Bad runs always seem to be broken in the least likely scenarios.
Win tonight............Yes or No?
Law of averages doesn't work like that.
No
I mean that the odds against us losing our NEXT 20 odd away games are very high.
Because we have ALREADY lost 20 odd away games obviously doesn't mean we have more chance of winning tonight. We are talking about the odds of winning one game. Mathematically, previously results don't matter. In practice we are highly likely to lose tonight but that's because we are crap - nothing to do with "averages"
I watched Ipswich demolish Millwall last week so it’s a no from me.
The only shock tonight will be if Kieffer Moore doesn't bag at least a pair. He looked out of place in The Premier League but has certainly got enough class in The Championship, especially against us in our current state.
A few lessons in 'Maths - When, and What to Apply' are needed.
