In this thread there is a video on how Rockefeller changed the landscape and how modern medicines started out. How he paid for and sponsored universities and institutions to teach medicine using his drugs.

It’s a shame that during or before the pandemic the drug that won a Nobel award has been denounced even though in Africa and poor countries it’s saved countless lives and had been administered billions.
I can’t remember the name of the drug but I believe it was developed at the John Hopkins university.

Anyway we’re going to be saved by Pfizer because they’ve paid about $40b for a cancer drug company that only turns over $2b.
I will confess that I have not watched the whole of this video. Just enough to see that it is pseudoscientific babble.

Natural medicine has its place – aspirin was developed from natural medicine using willow tree bark and digoxin from foxgloves. Tamoxifen is based on a toxin found in yew trees and statins and antibiotics were developed from Penicillium moulds.

Speaking of penicillin, it only became useful as a drug after a company called Pfizer worked out how to mass produce it in order to achieve their evil aim of world domination by, er... (checks notes) saving countless millions of people from bacterial diseases.

If herbal treatments will cure cancer, how come Professor Dalgliesh – who you linked to earlier in this thread – is not using them in his cancer practice? He doesn’t appear to be fan of big pharma.

mRNA technology may well revolutionise the treatment of some cancers. The programmable nature of mRNA platforms may allow for tailor made treatments to attack the specific cancer (all of which will carry a variety of different mutations) within individual patients.
