uysapie was the only one to predict a 3-1 defeat against Crewe, and odds of 28/1 see him jump up to third on the leaderboard. After the lethargic performance on Saturday, who knows which Notts will turn up on Tuesday night? I’ve got a bad feeling about this game, remembering our opening day 5-1 hammering. I rarely predict a defeat. The last one was Newport to win 3-1; the result was a 3-1 win for Notts. So, hoping for a repeat (we desperately need it), my prediction is:
Notts 1 Sutton 3

Am I seeing it right is 0-0 16/11 or is that supposed to be 16/1?
Notts completely dominate first half but go in 0-0. Usual lethargic start to second and find ourselves 0-1 with Sutton's first corner. Our defence static as their smallest player rises above to head home.
Crowd turn, players make mistakes all over the park but somehow we scramble a late and lucky equaliser. Sutton go home crest fallen, the Lane celebrates like we have just won the playoffs.
Notts 1. Sutton 1 Baldwin.

If Sutton's manager is even a half-capable one he will know of our extremely rare, if not unknown, use of the long ball out of defence so I wouldn't bother marking Didsy just yet, just keep a pacey chap glued to Jodi and a big bugger next to Macca. Do that, pack your midfield, and the job's a good'un.
