Defensively we were the usual shambles, but somehow we kept in the game. However the last 20 minutes were all Sutton and we never even had a sniff at getting a 4th equaliser. For those sceptical of JOB his substitution by Bostock in my eyes proved pivotal as it coincided with Notts’ decline as an attacking threat. Really not sure what has happened to JB but he probably needs a rest from the side. Thank God we have already secured 47 points because we are truly showing relegation form at the moment.

Looks like it, but not sure that describes it, Swale. We are still trying to play the same way. Isn't it more about motivation, confidence, respect? Those things have been drained away completely.

Played it quicker under LW and he was miles better that is now crystal clear.

He's been angry for weeks but he's been reining himself in, you see it every week when he's on that Magpie Circle podcast, he thought we were on for automatic promotion a month ago, now even the top half looks a stretch.

I listened to one and a half interviews with Maynard before I could stand it no longer….imagine listening to it all week, day in day out, and there’s where the motivation in the players has gone.

In fact, thinking about it, it doesn't matter who we have as head coach if Montague is still here to bring in whatever dross he can scrape from the bottom of the footballing barrel. Even Sirrell would struggle with the signings he's made recently.

The defending is comical, we could have let 8 in tonight. With this group of defenders we need to get a system and stick to it rather than change each game. I wish he didn’t have a plan B !
