You said our form was nose diving and now you pick first game of the season !

We are a newly promoted side did you expect us to not get a few hammerings this season.

Reality is we were 6th and that is a pure fact under Maynard we’ll be top 6 if the table gets turned upside down.

You can admire LW has much as you like. The bottom line is, we had been very lucky in quite few matches were we were hanging on.. The rot started with him, and has gathered pace because we didnt address the problems during the transfer window.. SM may, or not turn out to be any good, but he has certainly been left with a team that were heading in a downward trajectory.

It’s about respect he came in and got us out the NL in the first effort you can talk about the squad he had all you like but he did it and that is all that matters he is a PROMOTION winning coach for us another fact for you.

As for we were hanging on so what every team has to hang on at times you can’t win 4-0 every week.

Depends what you call a rot I’d say after 50% of the season in a higher league being in a play off place is not a rot but you seem to think we should be like Madrid brushing everyone aside.

The transfer window is another thing altogether that isn’t the remit of LW or SM.

Thank you for allowing us that, in my case I admire Luke Williams massively. He gave us a season I never dreamed would happen, we won loads of games, scored loads of goals, conceded very few, played great football, increased attendances and got promoted via a Wembley final.

If you ignore all of that, he was pretty average.

But apart from the above, what has he ever done for us?

The defence has certainly been Roman all over the place.
