Her voice is the least of my worries. At least she isn’t lying every time her lips move. Hardly her or their fault they have no ‘track record’ yet…the Tories certainly have (!)…but as you say…fingers crossed.

P.S. Choosing not to watch is not the same as never having watched or seen extracts. Similarly, I’ve deliberately never read the Sun since their behaviour over Hillsborough…doesn’t mean I’ve never picked up a copy in the past or I don’t sometimes see their increasingly ludicrous headlines.

Still, you’re clearly less unhinged than normal as you’ve not gone off on your Nazi analogies. Yet
its your opinion that GB News is occasionally on the "right" side of an issue, and certainly in this case I'd be inclined to say you have proven your opinion to be worthless.

I have a simple rule of thumb for anybody who watches GB News or in any way defends it - they aren't capable of critical thought and aren't worth arguing with.

Surely the whole point of news media (not that GB News is in any way a news media), is to inform and challenge? If one just wants ones own prejudices, pre formed opinions and views parroted back at you, then your not really in the game are you?

I do laugh when you accuse me of an entrenched views! Being able to spot a fraud and question why a media organisation that is clearly unviable is being funded actually shows independence of thought. My views are far from entrenched, they change but I do set store by verifiable sources and actual evidence, made up fake news and the misrepresentation of the facts less so. Its true all media to an extent misrepresents a story or news, but GB News does it as a matter of course, that should be enough to make any vaguely sentient person question it.

I actually said that there is often a grain of truth in the puerile right wing propaganda this media pushes out. That's a well known tool used by such organisations and the people within, it enables the useful fools, such as yourself to claim there is some credence to what it says. I mean how simple minded do you have to be to defend a channel spewing out falsehoods and hate on the basis it got one thing right?

The funding and profitability is key to understanding what GB News is about, it goes to the heart of why it pushes the material it does, if your incapable of recognising that, and worryingly not perturbed about it, you confirm my thoughts on your willingness to accept crap that confirms your innate prejudice.

How am I indulging in a smear campaign when I've merely quoted the facts? You claim to do research, so please do come up with the evidence that what I've said about GB Nes its output and its funding is a "smear"?

Pretty much the same as most of the printed press being owned by right wing, Toraidh supporting, tax exile billionaires who lambast Labour at every turn whilst Championing just about everything Tory.

Not worth the paper they're printed on.

So, GB news funding irks some folks? As much as the BBC fund raising with a tax?
An indivudual has the right to donate/watch GB news if it wishes, or ignore it. What of you don't want to watch the BBC bull**** and have to pay for it?

Swale again missed the point of the clip involved. The BBC jumped on the "education" bandwagon, of a persecuted poor refugee family. Portrayed them all as saints in their very own show. Tried reducing everyone to tears after the not guilty verdict. Turns out to have been a family of *** monsters, now serving mainy many years behind bars at the tax payers expense.
Will the BBC be doing a show, highlighting how easy it is to be fooled and admit such vermin into the country? No it won't!
    Their narrative doesn't do that.
GB NEWS REPORTED IT, BECAUSE NO ONE ELSE DID
That for me, is why that channel exists.
Because most news outlets, pick, choose, decide what you the public need to know and which way you think.

I said, that anyone should watch a debate panel on there. You will always have a person representing the right and the left and neutral in the middle.

The debates get very heated as a result. Definitely not something the BBC/Sky or the Guardian/Mail would ever do.
To reiterate, try watching a bIt of all sorts.
Cherry pick one source, then you are indoctrinated.

I like the homemade youtube videos , at an event. It isn't edited.

A classic of that, is like when a channel boat arrives. Leave it to the BBC/Sky and the camera pans. focussing on the one woman and child it finds on that boat. Ignoring the 99% single young men, who arrived with them.
That isn't reporting, it's Geobbels style propaganda

    nb, Swale
I do not have a problem with immigration. I have a problem with "mass immigration", with miniumum integration. Something Europe has now woken up to, with Sweden/Denmark/Germany/ France taking big measure to curb.
    It s a mismanaged shambles.
If you are trying to tell me, that 750 000 immigrants coming into the country in one year is a good thing, then I'm doubting your sanity and motives?
How a student, paying money here, to do a meaningless degree or college course and dragging their family here, benefits the country escapes me?
40 % of those students don't leave either. Safe to say, that includes the family they brought with them.

Then there is the robbing of UK citizens chances to get into decent universities by these visa looters and the greed of Universities.
You can't tell me this is right and beneficial to UK future denerations either.

Meanwhile…in other news - and moving away from TTR’s obsession with a minority news channel and migration - (Asylum seekers and refugees make up about 16% of the migrant population and less than 0.6% of the population btw…there is today, in a relatively prosperous Derbyshire market town, a 15 week wait to see a doctor for a non urgent appointment and it is almost impossible to access NHS dental services. God knows what it’s like in poorer areas.
Our schools are having to close facilities because the Government insists that H&S building repairs are paid for out of existing budgets, the police are struggling because they too are underfunded, the NHS waiting lists are unprecedentedly high and our roads and railways are a disgrace.
Maybe, just maybe, such matters should matter more and be of more universal importance to voters than migration, which Party the idiotic (imo) Lee Anderson is going to join this week…or even Princess Charlotte’s sleeve!

Ah but those elongated waiting lists and under resourced public services are because of the immigrants putting a strain on demand and contributing nothing to the economy.....

Yeah…there’re thousands of immigrants in the Derbyshire Dales! Otherwise…as MA suggests…couldn’t you, just for once, step away from the attempts at satire and offer a sensible contribution? Pretty please.

P.S. My dentist is an immigrant. One of the few who provides a local NHS service too.
