No one predicted our 3-0 win at Bradford, although 42% did predict a Notts win. The Leaderboard remains unchanged, apart from a deduction of one YAP each. Let’s hope we can carry the improved form into Saturday’s game against Salford. At this stage of the season, it’s tempting to be swayed more by the odds when making a selection in the hope of climbing the Leaderboard.

I feel good about notts and expect a strong finish to the season. Why because to have success you need a strong first choice team backed up by strong bench.
Mansfield have both that's why they lead the table. They can make substitutions for all positions without weakening the team on the field. Notts for most of the season have had a very weak bench often with with no striker on it. Now with both Scott and Dizzy expected to be fit for bench duty plus suprise package Jatta Notts now have strong replacements for both attack and midfield hopefully to give our very poor defence more cover.
Notts to win and score at least four goals macca (2). Jatta and Cowley

They have the 2nd worst defence in the league (ours being THE worst of course) though they have kept 6 clean sheets on the road. The only sides they've lost to since Karl Robinson took over on 5th Jan are Stags, MKD and Gillingham and if the season had begun that day they would be 5th (and Notts 24th), so a trickier fixture than many might imagine it to be.

We've had a lot of clubs making their first ever appearance at Meadow Lane for a league fixture in recent years, no less than 18 of them in the last 10 years, but unless we drop back into tier 5 then Salford will likely be the last new name on a Notts County league fixture list for a good while to come.

Notts 2 Salford 3. 11000 fans, 19,300 disappointed. It must be time for "they came with a game plan" to surface.
