II will respond to OP original question and his interpretation that they can be effective at this level and above.

    Certainties:
    Macari
    Palmer
    Bostock
    Langstaff
    McGoldrick
    Crowley
    Langstaff
    Jones
    Robertson

    Potentially:
    Jatta (physucality)
    Scott
Baldwin ( if he loses his arrogance and has someone he respects alongside)
Chicksen ( could do a job in a 4. Quick, does sense danger, just dont ask him to forward.
TAR ( Id like to see him in a 4 at R
JOB (player coach, use in emegency)

    Never:
Cameron ( he is really poor as a player and captain)
Rawlo ( great pro but too slow now)
Brindley ( doesnt want to play)
Nemane (Crowley acts as his guide dog. He wouldnt have a clue unless he's spoon fed opportunities to cross which with remarkable consistency fails to find a team mate)
    Slocombe
    Stone
Brooks ( if he cant get a game in front of thec3 we have now, its a waste of a wage
Austin ( sad to say this because he really tries, but probably a little lightweight and not quick enough to compensate)
Munakandafa ( no progress, doesnt look good enough)

Not seen enough but probably no:
    Bajrami
    Morias
    Randall

    Cant say yet:
    Colkett

Would keep with potential to bring through:

    Mahovo
    Sanderson

    Great post
Don't disagree with any of your assessments
Luke left at the right time (for him) just as L2 opposition managers realised how to play against us
Poor old Stuart Maynard was left with a UXB
The players are more nervous at home than away as the fans naturally show their unhappiness at idiotic passing around at the back between panicky defenders who more often than not end up passing the buck back to the keeper
Who then boots it upfield (unless an opposing forward intercepts the back pass as has happened a ridiculous number of times this season)

We had just won 3-0 and 5-0 at home. Sure away was proving difficult but even if you think we may have won just 2 of Maynard’s home games we would still be in and around the playoffs.
The man has not got a clue, he never achieved anything at Wealdstone (Dean Brennan got them promoted then left for Barnet) our owners are absolutely deluded if they believe he has the skills to manage at this level.

I think this is an excellent post that addresses what the OP wanted.
Personally I would be quite happy for Nemane to be here next year. He has the potential to be a match winner and I would have been much happier if he had been on the bench yesterday. Given that Jodi and Macca probably won't be here next season, I think that is all the more reason for us to keep him.
Also Austin is a good hard working squad player but shouldn't have been playing yesterdays role. Be good to keep him around.
Other than that I think you are spot on.

I'm more interested who can play a level above L2. Of course its unrealistic to expect the entire squad who got promoted last season to be at that level but our only purchases should have been on players capable of making it at the next level up from L2. Crowley has been a success as have Robertson and Macari but beyond that i am not sure if anyone else brought in has. I appreciate the loyalty of the owners to certain players but they are going to have to be much more hard nosed this summer if they want to keep progressing.
Just as it was evident to everyone but the recruitment team that the defense last season would struggle, it is now evident we lack physicality and energy, particularly as we now have less possession and have more to do off the ball.
