People moaning that it took them four seasons to get promoted in what has historically been the toughest NL ever, conveniently forgetting it took Wrexham and many others far longer to escape.

So, they’ve made a poor appointment in Stuart Maynard, I think they can be forgiven for that considering what they have already done for the club….cant they? The season is done, the owners have earned the right and respect to handle this situation as they see fit.

Some of the abuse they and the manager are getting is embarrassing.
Nobody is reallY having a go at the owners, we are simply asking the owners now to admit that they made a mistake and get a new manager in for next season, if they stick with Mayanrd next season and we struggle it is on them, what they did before does not excuse this poor judgement
I do not buy that the NL was the toughest ever , in most of the 4 seasons we have been down there .with Barrow and Sutton being top, then the 3rd Stockport who recently was in tier 6, even last year bar Wrexham there were no outstanding teams- the reason why we did not go up earlier is because they backed poor managers to average in Ardley for nearly 2 years, then Burchnall , even with LW so 1 out of 4 they got lucky
For some reason the owners want to pick managers and players that are up coming with limited experience, its success rate gives a poor return
