Your posts are getting more childish by the day.
You can always tell when an argument has been lost.

    The personal insults start

You should take a leaf out of the " Warne book of niceness"

Is it true you fabricate your whining for a bite or do you actually believe what you post?

Also by your own logic, resorting to calling people happy clapper mugs suggests you’d already lost the argument?

Aside from the insults that are flying around on this holy weekend I believe this bit is true so credit to Gristy for remembering.
His reluctance to spend money was quoted by a prominent person at the club after PW left. Can’t remember who it was but I suggest it was either TS or RS but I might be wrong

Apparently PW was offered the chance to increase his budget but he turned it down. It was also quoted that he preferred not to have his full maximum squad size as he found it easier to manage less people.
This may have contributed to one or two of the relegations when the injuries bit.

PW was successful for us relatively speaking so he chose to manage as he saw fit so the above isn’t necessary a criticism. Perhaps disappointing though as to what might have been…

Paul Warne always said he wouldn’t spend money if it wasn’t good value for the club and the player wouldn’t make us better.

Taylor spent a million on Nombe.

I know which approach I prefer.

Well ok that’s one way of looking at it. But PW seemed to be a bit more successful than MT in picking the right type of player.
As I said previously it wasn’t just about vfm it was also about him not wanting to manage too many people so the vfm players might have been there but he still turned them down.

So if PW had been braver and gone with instinct, signed two or three more that he had the budget for we might….might have stopped up.

I know which approach I would have preferred but it’s all conjecture now

All managers sign players who aren’t a success, and anyway, Peltier played well last season and played in the majority of games and Ferguson had a great couple of seasons before his injury problems this year, so you’re being harsh with those two. Taylor offered them new contracts so he obviously rated them too.

Can you remember all of the 80+ players Evans signed? They were all a success weren’t they?

It is the first time I have ever turned the tv off while we’ve been playing. I have never left a match early in my life.

I have no attachment to this team. Even the way we set up makes me doubt if we can score.

I would like Tony Stewart to sack the manager. He’s taken us further backwards than any manager I can remember.
He said that the players need picking up but I would say it was he that needs picking up.

I would like for Morrison to take over with a view to him becoming our next full time manager if he can be seen to motivate his team mates.

    Simply not true Frog.

He might be p!ss poor but he’s inherited an utter sh!tshow.

A bad dressing room isn’t going to rise up for a manager that’s going to bin most of it.

    Very little quality.

Clear as day, this time last season.
