Attended the last home game against Wimbledown and really didn't enjoy it. Felt bored for most of the game (a cold afternoon didn't help matters). I'm tired of watching players endlessly and aimlessly pass among themselves and the goalie across the back, going nowhere and achieving the square root of nothing apart from raising the possession stats. Regular periods of this absolute guff are punctuated by some of the most amateurish, schoolboy errors in defence which make a laughing stock out of the club.

As a few others have said, I won't be there again this season if this manager continues in the job.I absolutely hope the man isn't abused if things start going wrong again on Monday. He was invited to come and manage this club and any blame goes elsewhere for that. I sincerely hope that he can go and find a suitable position at his own level somewhere. That needs to happen now, Anything else is just wasting valuable time preparing for next season.

I'm done, until there is change.

In my opinion he needs to ditch his conservative approach on how to play and take the shackles off.Let him prove he knows how to set up a team to attack and let them play how we were before he came.let the wing backs push on and the rest will follow.! Hes got half a dozen games let the players loose and play the way they know....!!

An alarming thing for me is listening to all the steps back he'd take if he's given the chance. First we have the 'tweaks' to stop teams breaking on us. OK, but let's be honest about the trade off with our attacking potency. But now we have the 'defend the box' mantra. Anybody else not really recognise what he was saying about L2 teams putting the ball in your box 'all the time'?! Massive exaggeration that, IMO.

But it signals the next stage of turning us into the L2 Wealdstone. A small club mentality when we'll load up defensively to fend off the attacks of the L2 giants. We need better defending and better defenders, but we don't need a defensive mentality and identity.
Hope the bros take note of this too in their current considerations. We didn't get the extra thousands back to Meadow Lane by being scared of the opposition.

I have been pretty much in the camp that some of the players weren't helping SM, but l am slowly coming around to the fact that the job might be too much for him. However, Stal pointed out that the players need to take more responsibility on the pitch, and l agree with him. For example, Nemane marking a player a foot taller than him, can't' the players see this and make their own adjustments? Even when they make a mistake they just seem to shrug their shoulders and let SM take the flak.
