From what I could see very few clapped him before the game. He must see this and I've gotta say it takes some right balls to do.
As mentioned Vic rightly kept us in it. We were second best everywhere. Even the ref was trying for us when he decided on an infringement a millisecond before Eaves shoved that player over in the box for all to see.
We only became dangerous when that crap Blades loanee went off and Revan, who is also crap, actually showed us he can be quite dangerous as an inverted winger QPR Chair style. His goal was decent and his cross for Wyke (come to in a minute) was decent.
Rinamhota tried his best to ruin it with the most bonehead corner defensive play ever. He and only he alone decided to run out leaving his man completely free behind him to nod in that equaliser.
Now before Wyke there's Nombe. What does this guy actually positively contribute ever. Don't even tell me he laid the ball back for Revan. My retired mum can pass a ball 3 yards. This guy will be crap in L1 and by January 2025 we'll be looking to get rid. I play with players at 5 a side (not me I'm crap) who are miles better than him. But then there's Wyke. If anybody wanted definitive proof of how inept the recruitment dept and DofF are he is it. How much more of this have we got to take where each signing is as bad as the last? Surely law of averages can help us?
Only Stewart Evans, the man himself could score such a goal, falling over hitting the back of his head.
Today the football gods smiled on us.
But there are no green shoots here, no evidence of exiting a "transition" no foresight of better things to come under LR and RK.
This was just a win, nothing else and I wish it wasn't. We need relegation confirming now. Not lingering on a -35 goal difference
