    ABBA 50 years on.

    Watching on the BBC tonight.

Regardless of genre one of the greatest bands of all time.

Even 50 years on, I still tingle when I see Agnetha, makes me feel like a mid ****ager again.

And on the Switzerland special TV show in 79 they had Kate Bush singing “Wow”.

What an extraordinary young lady Kate Bush was.

My favourite three women singers of all time, Agnetha, Kate Bush and Debbie Harry.

Those range on voices and looks……I rest my case m’lud!

Always liked Abba from back when they won Eurovision in 74. Some took the p iss because I listened to them and bought the albums but their loss not mine and didn't stop me enjoying Bowie, Punk, Ska, Northern Soul or whatever as well. Great pop songs and great vocals from Agnetha and Frida whose voices complimented each other perfectly.

Many people don’t like to admit to liking Abba but I have to say that their music was top drawer. They can stand behind all the greats of the sixties; Beatles, Stones, Hollies etc.

Back in 2019 we began a Scandinavian holiday in Stockholm, where there is an Abba museum and experience exhibition but unfortunately, the queues to get in were very long and we had limited time there; we were told that it is well worth a visit.
