Jimmy Thelin is "poised" to decide whether or not to take the job, apparently.
The 'MainStandMoan' poster on the HAT has posted Thelin on his way to Aberdeen and may well be announced today, but likely tomorrow.
Good news if true. Need the new guy in now. Nothing against Leven who has done a fine job in the circumstances, but he needs a good look at the dross we have on the books so he’s under no illusions about what he needs to do.
Definitely a change of direction in the type of manager as well so that’s good (and a relief) to see as well.
It’s not Mainstandmoan that posted it though…

A wee 'hats off tae Leven. He's done remarkably well wi' what he has tae work wi'.
We'll never forget Robson's remarkable turnaround as interim manager ... but let's also remember, withoot disrepectin' Robbo .... he took the reins after a transfer window where we'd signed Shinnie, McDonald and Pollock to name just 3 .. which changed oor fortunes on the pitch.
Leven has had nae such boost .... yet seems tae be daein 'nae bad' .... Obviously too early tae call, but has he maybe done more tae 'fix' our defence than can be claimed by Robson, Goodwin, the mighty Neil Warnock, and Glass?
Nae suggestin' he be kept on as permanent ... but credit far credit's due
