Definitely not BT as he also selected Jordan Pickford and Dominic Calvert-Lewin in his Team of the Week!

We had one of our Black Holers, David Lynch, as player manager at Clitheroe a couple of years ago, his MO was to bo11ock the other players at every opportunity, the slightest mistake and he was on their back. It didn't work, the players became reluctant to show for the ball and the performances and results suffered. He didn't last that long, eventually he got confrontational with the wrong people and he was gone.

Players don't make mistakes on purpose, 99% of them are doing their best, and in my experience encouragement works much better than a bo11ocking.

Totally agree with this sinkov. Players are all individuals and their reactions will always be different with some reacting to being *******ed whilst others need an arm round the shoulder or similar.
As a manager of anything, there is nothing to be gained by publicly chastising anyone for a mistake. Deal with it behind closed doors and you will get results from those individuals involved for being respectful to them.
If they choose not to react favourably to this treatment, just tell them to get on their bike

Everyone is different, and that's where good management comes into play.

Talking about management. Kompany claims over the last 6 matchs we have been the best side. Me thinks he's off his head

When SD was in charge we were the worst team every game almost but still spent 6 consecutive seasons in the PL.

    Kompany is useless.

I would rather have Rovers manager in charge Eustace, he has stopped the rot, they have stopped conceding goals, just like we did when Dyche took over from Howe

If Kompany is useless, how do you explain last season, when we got over 100 points, lost just 3 games out of 46 and Colin said we were the best Championship team he'd seen in 25 years ?
