    Agreed finances should be private, let HMRC sift out the rogues

    The Rayner thing does seem like its got more to give, I know that bit of law quite well and there are some evil little twists and turns to it, IMO even if she acted in good faith / following professional guidance, if she's found to have evaded tax she'll be a gonner

    Having read the assessment of Dan Neidle who is a tax expert, on the tax issue it seems much ado about **** all, just a typical fail attack ordered by Tory clients because they fear her as a political opponent. That seems to be borne out by the Tories now trying to "get" her on where she was registered as a voter, but again its small beer compared to what the Tories have been up to and smacks of desperation.

    The reason she hasn't "put it to bed" as it were, well she did respond, but its the Daily fail who keep on about it, in much the same desperate way they ran Labour's so called "Beergate" over several days to absolutely no avail.
