Don't think anyone can disagree with you. Some decisions go against you but they tend to at least look quite close whereas this one was shocking in that the player was so clearly not in the area. I'm surprised that the linesman didn't pick it up-but if he did, isn't he required to inform the referee rather than only say something if the ref is in some doubt and consults him?

Whilst Rotherham have every right to feel aggrieved I don't think it would have changed the final result of the game though and they know this. It's true that at 1-0 up we were still nervy as they had created chances to get back into the game but our better quality would have come through and I'm sure we would still have got a second goal to cushion the lead.
