On the same all in income from league, Scottish cups and Europe Celtic earned 30m, Rangers 21m and Hearts over 7m due to the lucrative European prize money. Add home gates, sponsorship, merchandise and other tv income that the old firm manage to ring fence there’s little wonder that the league is utterly uncompetitive.
