Ps, Not completely dismissing all of Malhotra's points - i think some of his general observations of how we respond to fear as a culture and ghow that has potential to be abused by authority. My wariness is how, as Horton points out, Malhortra uses a very well rehearsed argument structure to try and pursuade audiences without necessarily backing up quite huge statements with appropriate evidence. Seems quite manipulative to me.
They’re all very well rehearsed. Speakers have to be. I used to go around the world selling a product and had to know the catalogue inside out. My 35 minute speech was based upon it to a large audience.

To contradict oneself is bad 😂
