Contract extended to 2027 and plans to discuss the beyond when the season ends, very happy to hear this after so much speculation he would be off to a "bigger club". What he has achieved in just 18 months with this group of players is remarkable, win the ECL and I'm sure more silverware will follow.
Off the pitch - improved shirt sponsor deal and move to Adidas plus a great chance of 4th spot significantly improves our financial position as well as competing for the best players.
There's a real feel-good factor around the place, and we're only getting started.

Great news and I im sure he can see the potential here. Why do so much hard work just to hand it over to someone else. Like martinez said it's easy playing champions league for a big team but doing it with villa is very special. This crop of talent including Emery could go on to be legends at the club.
