    Happy retirement Barbara.

Jon Colman is one of the most eloquent journalists I know. It couldn’t be put better than this:

Go Well Bumble, and thanks for the memories.

That’s a great article about you bumble and shows how much you are loved by the club as well as the News and Star and supporters

Good luck in your retirement and I hope that you’re not hanging up the camera for good and continue to photograph* all of the great wildlife that you have in Cumbrian

    * I was going to use the word ‘snap’ but then it occurred to me that it wouldn’t be worthy of a professional like Barbara

Great tribute to the wonderful person Bumble is… Hopefully she will continue her passion for wildlife in her retirement.. a very talented lady.. Wish her all the best in where she wishes to take the next chapter in her life & hope she pops up on here now & them to say hello.

Thank you all. I have been overwhelmed by the lovely comments, I was totally unaware of the number of people who knew me and liked my work. Again thank you. I will still be around, watching from the stands and cheering them on.

The Club should honour you with life membership & free exec entry / seat 👍
