Dutch Football Club Launch Crowd Funding Campaign To Raise Funds

Dutch Football Club Launch Crowd Funding Campaign To Raise Funds.

Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem have launched a crowd funding campaign, in a attempt
to raise funds to retain their license, & stay in the professional leagues.

Vitesse will be relegated from the Eredivisie, for the first time in 35 years, after an
18 point deduction for breaches of their licensing conditions, & providing incorrect
    information to authorities.

The club must prove they have a financially sustainable future, to be allowed to play
in the second tier next season.

The funds raised reached 1m euros [£858,000] on Friday, with current & former
players donating, as well as fans.

Chelsea FC players Lewis Baker & Matt Miazga, who were on loan at Vitesse, have
both given money to the fund.

Ex-Vitesse player Wilfried Bony, who was sold to Swansea in 2013, also donated.

Vitesse's football squad have taken salary cuts, to help the club.

I’ve got a question about this. If they need say £3 million but only raise £2.5 million, who gets the £2.5 million?

It’s like when we had the bucket collections but got taken over anyway by T.S. Who got that £439?
