    This Saturday will be Gavin’s last game in a Queens jersey. If only the other players showed the same commitment and attitude as him. Thanks for the memories Gav.

    Back page of the Standard indicate that Gavin is not adverse to signing a new contract and is awaiting talks with the club.

    Not sure why both the local papers suggested that Gav was looking to sign a new contract when Gavin clearly was set on taking an apprenticeship and moving to part time to benefit his young family. Was Gav taking the piss which is not like an educated man.
