from the list the players we are already linked with are probably the only ones genuinely worth pursuing. Whilst there is quality players there, they don't really fit the 'club model'.

The other players are either outside the target age, will have high wage expectations that don't fit our model.

Che Adams, Pepe etc. Not players that are not of interest to the club.

For me the only player looking at other than the 2 defenders we are already trying to sign is Ndidi.

With those 3 we can put the whole budget on a top RW and a replacement for Wilson.

Olise would be my first pick for our marquee signing, Prem experience, ideal for Eddie’s style of football.

There’ll be a lot of interest in him, but if we told him he would be No1 pick for that spot then we’d have a chance.
