So it would be great if someone from the club gave an update.
Do those at the club believe we just watch the game and then go home and forget about the club.
We are more intelligent and interested in the club than that.
    Well I am.

Might be an idea if reporters could find us some news.
Instead of just giving us their opinions.
What you mean is the Yorkshire Post article criticised the club from top to bottom and gave as honest an appraisal of why the club is in managed decline .

    Yer probably right.
But surely reporters have insiders within the club.
I’m sure O’Kane and Giddings will have.

But I’ve been posting about sports reporters for a week or so now.
They are free with their opinions but they are not giving us any news.
    Us fans can do that.
The Wobchell report in the YP could have been written by a supporter.
    It’s lazy pathetic journalism.

If the reporters are not capable of finding out what’s happened then it needs a supporters meeting for the fans to hold the directors feet to the fire.

Two questions I would like answering:
    1) In light of the description the club has given in relation to how the club plays ie the Game Model - why was Neill Collins appointed who clearly was unable to implement that style ???

    2) Has the mistake in the HC recruitment process that identified Collins been rectified ???
And on a side note - was Khaled hastily leaving the club anything to do with that.

Both questions are pivotal to this disastrous season that has just cost these directors promotion and a shed load of money.
And left us supporters watching another season of 1st Division football.

There is only one question that needs asking and that is, why did you sack a successful manager who has surpassed expectations by getting us to the play offs with 75 points despite having a far weaker squad than our previous manager had with one game to go and no replacement to take his place ?

If you asked the directors that - they would probably come straight back with this - ‘haven’t you been watching Barnsley for the last few seasons and not listening to what the club has said?’

But you can ask it if you want.
Let me know when yer going to ask it because I would be embarrassed for you and don’t want to be in the room when you do.

Haven"t you been watching the club for the last few seasons Shadrack ? Will the last 63 years do ? would be my answer , but I would repeat the question , why did you sack a manager who has successfully guided us to the play offs with one match to go and have no replacement ready to take over ?

There’s a difference between watching football - and watching football.
I think what you are doing is just watching football.

That's very profound Nudge, very profound.

The more I read your post, the more layers of meaning I interpret.

Shakespeare did a similar thing in some of his soliloquies.
