Mediocre players? When everyone is saying 4 Quality teams? How did Southampton look any better than us today? Leeds and Norwich looked poor up front today too. All four teams had a really nervous tie and I watched both games and we looked better than the other 3 (today) Might be different next week but we can be proud of the lads all top professionals.

I think we all are proud of the effort given by the team today and throughout the season, however I stand by my comments, these are mediocre players playing well above themselves due to superb coaching, not one of them Fellows apart are anywhere near Premiership quality

I completely agree with you Bomber.

Can’t disagree Bomber and let’s face it - we would be hammered in the Premier but proud of what we have achieved and the overall performance today. If only we had a striker as Fellows gets some lovely crosses in but Asante too small and not going to score. We need to gamble on Friday in my opinion with Maja or Weiman up front. Can’t afford to miss the odd chance we get!

    We need to score first!

I think your comment is a fair reflection of where we are. These games for me are a bonus and a chance for the new owner to get a better idea of his investment. They have out performed this season, between a limited squad, high injuries and a dark cloud hanging over the club for quite a lot of the season.
They have done very well and no more could really be asked of them...

Just back from the game…it seemed to me that both sides were ‘set up’ not to lose.
I thought we played ok, give our ‘player quality’
Interesting to hear Bomber Brown on radio after the match saying he hopes the Southampton side are joyous, having done a good job walking away with a draw. They will be in for a shock !
Another great game from Furlong…and to be fair…Bartley deserves praise.
    Palmer superb again.

So proud of the team today, everyone put a proper shift in, our press was outstanding, a little bit of fortune and we could be sitting on a 2 goal lead, Saints we’re pretty well nullified, play like that on Friday wand we really could do this.

Typical it was like 100% West Brom for the first 15 minutes and the highlights start with two Southampton attacks. (We got this treatment every week in the Prem) Beat Chelsea 2-5 at their place and it was all about Chelsea having an off day.

If we can score first on Friday Dave and play like we did at Leicester - we have a great chance! All everyone wanted was to have a go and today we did that!
