I think Saints have to come at us, this will play into our hands. Big chance, Leeds and Norwich looked average. COYB.
PS the Vine was ridiculous today 20
    Minutes to get a beer!

I always go to the bar at the front entrance on the side and never more than 5 minutes!

Couple of bottles of good red ready on Friday. We will go down fighting and that’s my own motto!

Enjoyed the game today but we really ought to have scored one or two from the situations that we created. As others have noted, though, Asante was a weak link; puts in plenty of effort but hopeless as a lone striker. He can’t win anything in the air, can’t hold the ball up and has a poor first touch, other than that he’s ok! Also, how Diangana failed to score late on in the first half I’ll never know. The second leg is 50/50, play like we did today and we can win it; who, though, do we play at centre forward?

    Weiman.

What was the point of signing this excellent finisher?

Was a great atmosphere today. Fellows and Johnstone both played very well as did the whole team. Looking forward to Friday.

My gut tells me we have to keep Southampton out on Friday, we need to see a nil against their name at full time.

If they score anymore than one I can’t see us getting anything.

Same here, but they were so rammed that it was one queue only that ran all the way through the main bar and outside! Never seen anything like it.

What do I know about football....but I always feel we could score when Weiman was up front in the few games I have seen him in. Seems to have that natural instinct of knowing where the ball will be befor it gets there.
Decent finisher of half chances....not sure how fit he is but still seems like a good finisher.
