    Just been to see the average white band,a brilliant gig ,i dont suppose anyone on here knows or remembers them

    I really like them. Was Fred Vigdor on sax? He is one of the tutors in an online sax school I belong to... I really should practice more!!

    Every time I think of the Average White Band it takes me back to the late ‘70’s and going into Woolworths to pick up the latest Top 20 singles that I wanted (it was the only place that you could buy them in Arnold back in the day) and noticing that the AVB album was always on the reduced rack as well as Elvis Presley’s Separate Ways album,it sat on the rack for literally years and thought that it must be crap,40 years later I love that album even though I never bought it discounted price
