    Get it in the bin

The Premier league down south will fight to keep it, a lot of self interest and jobs it creates too

I think that we are too arrogant in football to not look at the way rugby do their VAR. Miking up the ref and the person in the control room would be a great start. VAR has got more decisions right than wrong. A change in the offside rule to make it clearer, a change in the handball rule to make it less open to interpretation. Transparency, consistency and better communication with the fans about the decisions and why they are made.
If we can't achieve the above...then it should be in the bin!

I was in favour of it coming in originally, thinking misguidedly that it would level the playing field. Boy was I f*cking wrong! Apart from solving nothing and managing to make things worse,it's adding 15 minutes to f*cking games and ruining one of the fundamental joys of football, celebrating a f*cking goal! Get it all the way to f*ck!!!

Come on Troops, the removal of VAR from the Scottish game would cost The Rangers at least 10 penalties a season and take the two horse title race down to a one horse canter,we just cannie be having that!!!!!.
The legendary The Rangers penalty taking fullback James Tavernier who is second only to Shankland in the Premiership goal scoring charts would be looking human and we cannie be having that either!!!!!.

I don't give a toss about the politics behind it. The good, the bad etc?

    Bin the thing ASAP.

I'd rather put up with refs, linesmen/women making mistakes (ahem)

VAR ...is spoiling the game, on SO many levels.

It's not what it started out to be (whatever that was)

How many folk are paid VAR employees????

    And................

    It is BORING as Fcuk!!!

Our FA will just wait to see what happens down here and then follow suit but also claim it's on their own initiative. Absolute bunch of useless c*nts.

Probably the worst version of VAR happened at Ibrox and was highlighted on this board by James McClean.Right at the start of The Huns v Killie in open play the mason in the var room demanded the ref who had seen F ALL go to his screen to award The Rangers a penalty. It was of course never a hand ball in a million years and as James said at the time fair play to the ref for refusing to award it with 50,000 Huns demanding it.

There is no hope for the diddy teams with VAR in Scotland, its an absolute FACT that when The Rangers are below par and in danger of dropping points the VAR guys hidden away and not accountable will do everything in their power to lend them a helping hand and that's why i would be happy to see it binned.

Absolutely agree with your points, I wouldn’t be surprised if it was Mike McCurry was the VAR official in all Rangers games against the diddy teams!
