Thread: Nuts & Jet2.

  1. #1

    Nuts & Jet2.

Forgot to mention directly from the lunatic asylum.

Boarded Jet2 flight no.LS909 to Manchester late Monday night.

Tannoid announcement, "We have passengers on board tonight who have nut allergies, under no circumstances eat or handle nuts or associated products during the flight".

    WTF?

The sense of entitlement beggars belief mon ami, if I had a nut allergy and might die if someone at the back of the plane was surreptitiously scoffing peanuts, never mind what the Trolley Dolly says over the tannoy, I wouldn't be getting on the plane.

That’s not how it works these days. If one person in 100 has an allergy or special requirement, or whatever, the 99 have to be inconvenienced.

As you and BT have written many times - lunatic asylum.

Is not eating peanuts on a 3hr flight such an inconvenience?

Take responsibility for your own health. It's hardly an original concept, nor an onerous task.
