Norwich City have confirmed the list of players to be retained or released following the 2023/24 season.

Jacob Sørensen has signed a new one-year contract, with an option for a further one-year extension.

The versatile Dane has played all across the back four and midfield during his time with the club, underlining his value to the squad.

Ben Gibson and Dimitris Giannoulis are among the players who will leave the club at the end of their contracts this summer.

Both players reached 100 appearances for the Canaries during the 2023/24 campaign.

Gibson signed on an initial loan deal in 2020, later making it a permanent move. He was part of the Championship-winning squad from 2020/21 and made his 100th Canaries appearance in the 2-0 win against Huddersfield Town on December 23.

He also picked up his first goal for the club in January, heading home an equaliser at Anfield in the FA Cup.

Greek international Giannoulis joined on loan during the same title-winning season before seeing his deal made permanent upon promotion.

He reached the century mark in yellow at the Riverside Stadium in March.

Sam McCallum, Danny Batth and Jon McCracken will also depart the club this summer, while Sydney van Hooijdonk will return to his parent club (Bologna).

Goalkeeper Archie Mair has signed a new one-year contract with an option of a further one-year extension.

The club have offered Ken Aboh a new contract, with discussions ongoing with his representatives.

Pedro Lima is set to return to his parent club (Palmeiras), while Academy players Marcel McIntosh, Dubem Eze, Michael Reindorf, Flynn Clarke, Joe Duffy, Regan Riley, Joe Rose, Kenny Coker, Ben Watt and Sean Stewart have been released.

Adam Idah, Jon Tomkinson, Tony Springett, Vicente Reyes, Abu Kamara and Jaden Warner will all return to the club following the completion of their loan deals.

Christos Tzolis remains on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf until the conclusion of the 2. Bundesliga season. The German side have the option to make Tzolis’ move permanent.

Not really a full list, not sure many bigger clubs do a list as such, seems to be beneath them..but here is something…

Nottingham Forest can confirm that Felipe, Cheikhou Kouyaté and Wayne Hennessey will depart the club upon the expiration of their contracts this summer.

The trio, who joined the club in its first season back in the Premier League last term, have played instrumental roles on and off the pitch over the past two seasons.

Felipe, who joined Forest from Atlético Madrid in January 2023, played an integral part in helping The Reds secure their Premier League status in their first season back in the top-flight.

The 35-year-old produced a string of committed and impressive defensive displays in his 16 appearances towards the latter stages of last season, and will depart having played 25 times for the club.

Felipe also announced in March that he now plans to retire from professional football, bringing an end to an impressive playing career which saw him make over 420 appearances for club and country.

Kouyaté also departs having been an influential figure in the club's two Premier League campaigns, making 36 appearances for Forest since his arrival in the summer of 2022.

Hennessey also departs having been an important figure within the goalkeeping department during the past couple of seasons.

The club can also confirm that Gio Reyna, Divock Origi, Nuno Tavares, Gonzalo Montiel and Rodrigo Ribeiro have reached the end of their loan spells on Trentside.

Nottingham Forest would like to thank each player for their contribution during their time at The City Ground, and wishes them well for the future.

Salford City can provide an update on the playing squad after submitting our retained and released list over the weekend.

After a season and a half at The Peninsula Stadium, and helping to secure our place in the League Two play-offs for the first time, Adrian Mariappa will depart at the conclusion of his contract.

Midfielder Stevie Mallan will be heading off for a new challenge after two years at the club, but he leaves us with some fantastic goals to remember!

Fellow Scot Connor McLennan will also be leaving The Peninsula Stadium after three goals and a couple of assists in 30 appearances for the Ammies.

Loanees Ethan Ingram and Dec John return to their parent clubs, and we would like to thank them for their efforts, and West Bromwich Albion and Bolton Wanderers for loaning them to us.

As have already been announced, Elliot Watt and Matt Smith will both be moving on too.

Academy graduate Djavan Pedro, who has enjoyed a good spell on loan at Warrington Rylands this season and helped them to reach the NPL play-offs, is set to leave. DJ joined us in 2020 as a first-year scholar and made his senior debut this season in League Two.

After three years at the club, Joel Torrance is also moving on as he looks to further his career.

Thank you to all the players who are departing for their efforts in a Salford shirt, and we wish them well in their next step whatever that may be!

All other men’s first team and B-team players are either contracted to the club or are in contract discussions with us, and we will provide updates when appropriate.

Surprised Sheff Utd haven't announced theirs yet, surely Wilder knows who he doesn't want. Then again the big talk of an american consortium looking to take over has probably held any budgets back so he won't know what he's got to spend next season.

Think we've got a chance of landing Wes Foderingham? Out of contract, right age at 33 and a good shot stopper. There was a load of talk about us bringing back a familiar name for the keepers position but, that seems to have gone very quiet.
