Thread: Incoming transfers?

  1. #171
Evo certainly has been busy, which is nice,as there`s lots of places to fill, even without anyone else leaving I reckon we need another 7 or 8,will take a while to get recognise all these new players !
Think they need to dye their hair daft colours or go for some amazing haircuts.

Very impressed with this progressive approach to recruitment which just goes to show what can be achieved with a co-ordinated plan.
Still some way to go to complete the squad but I would say we are ahead of the game so far and it shows a real intent from the club, something that was sadly lacking last season.
Of course the proof of the pudding will be if Evo can get so many new players to gel and get off to a good start.
I think he probably can 🙂.

James adds some stability to the left half area, something which we have glaringly lacked for quite a few seasons now.

Evo's trying his best to get all and sundry in to form a team so he can still get away on holiday with Mrs Evo, as he's cancelled one he had booked.

Recruiting players this early may come at a premium in that a club probably has to be close to the players early demands to beat off the competition
So although it’s good news it’s probably costing a fair bit.
We’ve still got to persuade them to come here though but a very competitive budget in L1 helps immensely

Well done again to Tony for funding it and Paul Douglas for getting them over the line so swiftly. Very professional.

Also Would have thought McWilliams will have seen crookes move up the ladder from us and he will have been around him at Northampton..

    This from a Shrewsbury fan….

They’re fully taking the piss now. Team they’re making genuinely would of comfortably survived in the Championship
