    Summer general election…

Can’t think of anything more boring except for maybe Saturdays FA Cup game but the BBC have cancelled First Across The Line just to tell us something that could have been said on the 6pm news

I love General Elections. I’m often up most of the night as the results come in, though Mrsgriff can’t see the attraction.

Are you joking griff? I know that you’ve got an interest in politics but will you really see it all through the night?
When was the last time that Labour was in power and will it really be any different from the previous government if they get in,let’s be honest politicians are notorious for promising you the moon and delivering nothing

    “can’t find the exit” 😆

Annoyingly I was thinking about the election news last night whilst trying to drop off in bed and it got me wondering if those two M.P.s that defected over to Labour not long back (a woman and a Doctor) did it not because they’ve lost faith in the Tory’s policies but merely because they knew that Labour was going to win so jumped the sinking ship, what happens if I voted for the Dr. because I’m a staunch Tory and he won his seat but then he heads over to Labour, would he still retain his seat locally, what about Rishis wealth, surely he’s got no idea how life is affecting the common man when he goes home to his multi million pound house?

I should be thinking about bumping into Lorraine McIntosh on a deserted Caribbean beach but no I’ve got this crap to think about

Going to see the Deacon Blue next month at Scarborough Open Air Theatre so I’m hoping that the weather changes,I’ve never been been to that venue before so I’m looking forward to it plus a couple of nights in Scarborough

I didn’t even know that DB had a tribute band Pete so when you’ve seen them come back with a report on them 👍
