    Sanctions against Israel.

What is the point of the ICJ placing sanctions against Israel when they cannot implement them. A pointless exercise. What’s it got to do with South Africa anyway? Hamas are in favour of it, I wonder why? It’s pretty obvious who is behind it, Putin!

    Oh the irony.

South Africa pontificating on how to run a country!

The Middle East should have nothing to do with us and our noses kept out. Focus on the new Hitler in Russia!

South Africa, that paragon of international virtue, what a despicable bunch of hypocrites, they are apologists for terrorism.

That it was South Africa that made the application in the first place is certainly ironic, but the ICJ is UN affiliated. Not that this ruling will make any difference in any case of course as the organization is pretty much toothless these days as Russia's invasion of Ukraine and their tactics there have shown.

Personally, I believe that the Rafa operation should be stopped. Hamas's agenda is well known and both their aims and methods are despicable but the vast majority of those suffering in Gaza are innocent civilians. Hamas clearly doesn't care for them and neither does Israel. This has gone well beyond any excuses of "collateral damage" now and Netanyahu's actions are verging on genocide. These are deliberate tactics don't forget, the bullets and missiles were not let off by accident and neither is the disruption of aid transports done by mistake. Moreover, right-wing Zionists are already planning to carve up bits of Gaza for further illegal Israeli expansion and the elimination of Palestinians in the region would suit them nicely.

The atrocities committed by Hamas were heinous and Israel has every right to go after them -but not at the cost of so many innocent lives. Time the West got over allowing Israel to behave as it likes because of some kind of shared guilt over the horrors of the Holocaust. Certainly keep helping to protect it from Islamic extremists that crave it's destruction but don't keep turning a blind eye towards its own behaviour.

To my mind, refusing to call Israel out over their continued tactics in Gaza is not only morally wrong but also only serves to fuel the hatred of Islamic extremism. The implications of that will almost certainly not just be felt in the Middle East.

The United Nations is not fit for purpose.
It is an abysmay organisation that has zero teeth and has no interest in uniting nations. It sets out aspirations for we as humans should live from an idealist point of view. Thats it.
The main issue with the UN is all the unresolved problems left over from the WW2 ceasefire. The UN became the next confrontational stage and continued the war from global war to localised wars as the two enemies, of free countries and oppressed countries began the cold war politics.

The UN shold collapse itself like the league of nations before it and let the world war (which never finished in 1945) play out.
Enough is enough of this constant bullshyte from Dictatotships/Theocrats/Communists.

There are very little if any morals in world governments Omeg. Perhaps slightly more in individuals in each country.
Navalhney who died at the hand of Putin recently was one who stood out.
I wouldn'y listen to lectures from the UN or from the Soth African regime on how to behave in a war.
If anyone has morals, then I am delighted for you. Hold on to them dearly.
But do not expect politicians to show morals or courage at this hour because they represent what is corrupt in the world system right now.
Have a great Saturday football free day ya'll
