    Carlos interest

Leicester City are eyeing Corberan if Maresca leaves amid Chelsea links.
Managerial changes in the EPL impact lower leagues like the Championship.
Chelsea consider Maresca, and Leicester may turn to West Brom's Corberan.

Chelsea go through managers like my dog eats kibble.

This would be so bizzare. You take your team up that you just celebrated with and then not manage them in the premier league, then for Colberan who wasn’t successful (not a criticism) is rewarded with Premiership management. If I were either of them, i’d stay.

Maresca is a huge gamble for Chelsea but then no one in the world is ever good enough for that club. I just hate it when teams in a league I really have no love for can make a decision that can affect our club.

Many managers deserve no sympathy at all with short term sackings at the hands of lunatic owners.

If Maresca leaves Leicester or McKenna leaves Ipswich I hope they both get the boot within two months of the season.

Many managers are as stupid and as greedy as the idiot owners they work for.

It’s a fact of life any person will move if it’s financially worth it. Loyalty counts for little if the person can get a much better offer elsewhere. Personally - I wouldn’t blame anyone for accepting a better offer as that’s life!

I agree but why do so many people involved in football cry on behalf of the manager who gets the sack “so unfairly” then?

If I was McKenna there’s no way I’d walk out on Ipswich now, not after two successive promotions.

I personally could not do that.

I’d back myself to still be in demand a year from now.

Same as with Luton’s boss, his stock hadn’t reduced even after relegation, I respect him for staying this past year and if he moved on now I don’t think anyone could blame him.

There’s a lot to be said for loyalty on both sides, I’d have no respect for Patel if he acted how the lunatic cook at Norwich has acted……again!

Loyalty does not pay people’s bills. If McKenna gets offered a much decent financial package he needs to think of his family not all the pats on the back at Ipswich! If someone working for me for 20 years said they had been offered a better package elsewhere - I can either match it or do the decent thing and say they would be silly to turn it down for family/bills etc.

All this kissing the badge stuff - people need to think of their financials!

I don’t think this is about money. McKenna is going to be loaded either way. This is about personal objectives.

His personal aim will have been to be at a club like United or Chelsea and now is his chance. At the minute super clubs are turning their backs on the ‘super managers’ and going more for style of football and up and comers - that could change next season.

Nigel Adkins and Paul Lambert are the last managers to achieve back to back promotions. It didn’t work out like this for them.

He owes Ipswich nothing after what he’s done for them.

All the points raised are true. People will think of the money and there is a lot to be said for being at a club where things are going well. I just think that anyone joining Chelsea won’t be there long.

In that case let’s hear no slagging off when it comes to Corberan walking then.
