    The current fad for ditching managers so quickly seems ridiculous to me, especially in cases where the manager concerned has done quite well given the restraints they are working with but has not been allowed the time to progress. Clubs seem to want almost instant success from their appointments regardless of the realities of the situation.

    That said, whilst I don't like to see anyone treated unfairly, I can't have too much sympathy for those on mega wages who have already earnt more than enough for the financial security of themselves and family. Money isnt everything of course-but it helps!

    The managerial roundabout will always continue, not many managers really stay beyond 4-5 seasons, so when you get a decent one aka Corberan we should enjoy the ride, he will leave/ be sacked at some point let’s hope when the time comes we don’t end up with another Pulis, Pardew, Bruce type rubbish
